|Recommendations for Use||
Wear safety glasses, gloves and others safety equipments according to the job.
Always keep the tool clean for a better gripping and measuring process.
In order to avoid damage to the instrument, never exceed the scale limits.
Never disassemble or modify any part of the instrument. Such procedure must be done only by Tramontina.
Do not expose the measuring tolos to excessive heat and direct sunlight.
Never leave the measuring faces completely clasped. It is recommended that they are kept slightly apart, at 0.2 to 1 mm.
After using the instrument, store it in the original box or safe place.
Avoid drops or impacts to the instrument. It can cause damage to the instrument and uncertainty in the measurement.
Clean measurament faces and moving parts of tools before and after measuring. The presence of abrasive particles can cause premature wear to the tool.
Avoid damaging measurement faces. Also avoid using the measurement faces of calipers as a drafting compass.
Whenever posible, grase the measuring tools when storing them for a long period of time. Use a cloth with thin oil to protect from rust.
Store in a clean and dry place.
