Keep firm control of the torque wrench or lever when torque is applied.
Before each use, check the manual torque wrench accuracy. Torque multiplier will substantially increase the torque.
Check if the reaction bar is set correctly at the workpiece and also if the output square is in good condition. Otherwise, replace the tool.
Select an anchor point sufficient to withstand the reaction forces.
When positioning the torque multiplier, make sure that the output socket is positioned in a way that the reaction arm is at a perpendicular angle to the operation.
Keep the shortest distance between the torque multiplier output square drive and the work surface.
Keep the longest distance between the torque multiplier and reaction point.
Pull the reaction bar firmly against a suitable object. When the socket is properly positioned on the workpiece, the reaction bar should be at a perpendicular angle to the workpiece which the torque will be applied.
Do not use extensions at the torque multiplier output square drive. It can damage both tools.
Do not use impact wrench with torque multiplier.
Don?t hold the reaction arm when applying the torque. The normal movement of the torque multiplier can cause injuries;
Do not exceed the maximum torque that the tool can support because the break of output square drive during operation may result in an immediate torque release and possibly fall of the torque multiplier. It may result in injury for the operator.
Store in a clean and dry place.
