An even more relaxing bathing time!
Would you like to have an even more relaxing bathing time? Tramontina has tips to transform your house into a spa.
Bathing is an intimate moment that we often use to relax and reflect about life. With a view to how to make this moment even more pleasant, we have listed some tips.
Use bath salts!
In the bathtub: if you have a bathtub at home, take a day off to relax with a nice soundtrack or a book that you love.
What you'll need: only bath salts and hot water.
If you have whirlpool jets in your tub, you can use them to help relax your body with the water.
In the shower: you can enjoy a relaxing shower if you don't have a bathtub at home. You can hang a medley of bath salts from your shower head and relax while the aromas fill the room.
What you'll need: a medley of bath salts and a piece of tulle. To use it, just wrap the tulle with the bath salts around your shower head as if it were a shower cap. The water will filter through the bath salts and your shower will be much more pleasant!
Foot spa: before or after your bath or shower, you can take a moment to get your feet up and rested, ready for the next day.
What you'll need: add your preferred bath salts to a basin with warm water. You can add some stones or a massage bar to the bottom of the basin if you like, or simply soak your feet for 20 minutes.
Exfoliating: exfoliating is common practice in spas for a reason! This texturized massage helps to refresh the skin and release the muscles a little more than a regular bath.
What you'll need: before getting in the bath, mix your favorite bath salts with your moisturizer and apply to your body with circular movements. Then rinse it and enjoy the sensations of a relaxed body!
If you're unsure about investing in a new type of bath salt, how about making one at home and see how you feel? It's easy:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Epsom salts
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 2 tsp. almond oil
- essential oil of ginger
- essential oil of rosemary
Method:
Combine the Epsom salts, baking soda and almond oil in a small bowl. Add a few drops of each essential oil and store in a sealed container.
How to use: all you need to do is add some spoonfuls to your bath or rub a little of the mixture on your body at the end of the bath!
Enjoy the aromas and sensations of the oils and the salt on your body. The ginger has a refreshing effect and the rosemary helps to relax and calm you.
How about playing some music? Take your favorite playlist and connect your phone or a speaker on a low volume to get the soundtrack going. Our tip is to give preference to acoustic or slow versions with the piano as a highlight as they are usually smoother and can help you relax in the bath or shower.
